Summer Solstice!

Summer officially begins here in Seattle at 4:59pm. (I don't know how they can narrow it down like that, but whatever.)

And magically, the high here today is supposed to reach 74 degrees.

Holy crap.

Heat wave!

But then, Sunday, we're back down to 66. Sigh.

It's hard to dress in weather like this. And it may be warm outside, but my office is still freezing, so I'm in my khakis (summery!), my pink cable knit sweater (wintery!) over my Hanes boys white tank (summery!) and my shiny black ballet slippers (year round!). I'm feeling very balanced today. Once I leave work, I can shed the sweater and soak up some vitamin D.

Why am I telling you this?

Because I feel guilty for not posting much lately and I'm giving you something to cling to since you probably won't hear from me all weekend. Aren't I sweet?

And here.
Here's a bunny.

Happy Summer!

I think you secretly want a bunny!

Ask Todd to tell you about Thumper, the rabbit we had when he was about 12.  I still have the scars to prove that rabbits kick anytime they feel threatened, which is just about all the time. And they are a neverending source of (um...) fertilizer. Guinea pigs, on the other hand, are nice if you want a little furry pet with teeth that continue to grow so you need to give them wood to chew on. They make funny sounds and are quite sociable.Just putting in my two cents.Nancy

I think you're trying to hard to please. You have more of a life now and, while we love to share it with you, you needn't feel obliged to post just to make entries.

Let us know when you have something worth writing about.

BTW, nice bunny.
