Week of Cancer

Two of my very favorite people each lost a parent to cancer this week.

And it hurts.

To see their pain and feel their grief is tough. I want to support and help and make it all better, but that’s not possible. So, I offer up hugs and wine and a comfy couch to hang out on for an evening, with a promise to not talk about the obvious. It’s the best I can do for them right now.

I'm with you TD. Just be there for them - that's about all anyone can do.

As someone who lost my mom to cancer, I can say that hugs, wine and a comfy couch are all good things to offer!

That you are willing to be there - you have no idea what a blessing that is to them. That you are there for them - they know what a blessing that is. I love you. I don't like it when you hurt. - MM

So sorry to hear that, B. It's the hardest thing I've been through in life so far. You are doing a great job as a friend, though. Those things will mean so much to your friends.

I have to send my hugs via mail and texts. Can't do much else from here. Will you please hug Shaun for me?
