Yay, it’s the first day of school!
Except Kayleigh is in 7th grade now, so she starts tomorrow. The 6th graders in her middle school start today, though. It gives them a chance to get used to the big, new school without all of those daunting upper classmen.
I had no idea why mom and dad were so happy when I went back to school. I totally get it now. There's just something about getting back into a routine and structure and early bedtimes.
But I had forgotten about the traffic that comes with school. I need to adjust my morning a bit.
