Turkey day good. Bird still frozen. Almost five hours in oven. No one got sick. Lots o'wine. Shaun came! Called mom and dad. Both in rare form. Raunchy jokes abound. TBBE still loves me.
Black Friday. Minimal shopping. Couldn't find JoAnne's. Must have closed. Didn't get stocking hangers. Dammit. We survived Home Depot. Got a trash can.
Decorating that afternoon. Pretty tree. Lots of memories. Some sad. But good. Feelin' the spirit.
That night, girlie sleepover. K's friend. Watched Sixteen Candles. Donger need food! In bed early.
Saturday. Uh....
Wait. Gimme a minute.....
Slept in. I think. Pancakes for everyone. Twilight plans dashed. Dinner instead. Kyle at Kiss Cafe. Sleepovers for both kids. Partying it up, kidless style.
Sunday. Really slept in. Lunch. Wrapping presents. Twilight with Trish and Dan. Oh gawd. At least Edward is pretty. Goulash for dinner. Mom would be proud. Sunday night cartoons with the kids. Bed.
Today.
Ack.
I see wine in my near future.......

So you didn't like the movie? I'm almost finished with Twilight now and I love it. I'm so happy it's a series! I hope the movie wasn't too bad...
If you've read the books, you MUST see the movie. But keep in mind, it's aimed for girls 11-15. Very cheesy and simplistic. Still entertaining, though.
I'm not much on vampires and blood and gore but Kristin tells me I'd like Twilight. So I think I'm gonna give it a try.
There is very little blood and/or gore in Twilight. It is aimed at girls 11-15, as Rae mentioned.
This ain't Near Dark or even Lost Boys (although the "pretty" factor hits closer to the latter). :)
And why is the word verifaction "tests"? Rae knows I don't do tests.
OK, I'm glad that you didn't hate it. I want the movie to at least be decent. I'm going to start New Moon tonight - I cannot wait!!!
