Happy Fourth of July

Like the red, white and blue cocktail picks in our margaritas? This was the extent of our partying for the holiday.

We didn't really do much today. Kayleigh is at a sleepover. Tyler is playing games in his room. I made potato salad (from scratch!) to go with our hot dogs and watermelon for dinner. Our dessert was cake like sugar cookies with blue frosting and red and white sprinkles.

Maybe we'll watch the fireworks on TV later. Ooh. Maybe on the big screen. Feel like we're RIGHT THERE. Because we don't really want to be RIGHT THERE. Because there's too many damn people RIGHT THERE.

Happy Fourth to you.

You two are just about the cutest two people on the planet (scratch the "just about" part) and that is the cutest picture ever taken! I mean it. Uber-cute.

One of you MUST have a relative who listens to Judy Garland albums and has a slight fancy for bald, misplaced Southerners. A brother? An uncle? A grandfather? I'm easy. Ask anyone. :)

Happy 4th of July!

Totally cute picture of a totally cute, relaxed looking couple!

Looks like your 4th was a heck of a lot more relaxing than mine! Next year, YOU will be here to help me entertain the entire Marsh/Adams clan!! Hectic, but it was fun once everything got together.

OK, Raechelle...did you put dill or sweet pickles in the potato salad? Our side of the family is divided on this issue, and your answer is crucial!

I will have you know, dear Mother, that we used a mix of both dill AND sweet pickles.

And BACON.

Shocking? Perhaps. But we're rebels like that.

Stephen, I'm sorry none of the guys in our immediate families are single. Our officiant is "family", and has been a dear friend for 15 years. Sad and ironic that he is doing for us what he cannot do in his state of residence. But if you are ever in Vegas or San Diego, I will be happy to make the introduction and then *he* might know someone who digs bald, misplaced Southern Judy Garland fans. :)
